Soccer Smart Facilities

My Soccer University offers students some incredible facilities to allow them to prosper technically on the football pitch but also academically when it's time to get your head down and work those books!

Players will reside in our unique villa with a pool and games room. The villa is only a 10m walk from the training pitch and makes it possible to train twice daily with minimal effort invested in getting to the football pitch. Players can relax in the sunshine, read their books or work a project out of training hours and take as many dips in the pool as they wish. If that wasn't enough the beach is only a 10 minute walk from the Villa!

Alicante

Alicante  is a centrally located port city on Spain’s Mediterranean coast - The Costa Blanca.
The city looks towards the sea, and does so from its famous Paseo de la Explanada, one of the most beautiful seafront promenades in Spain. Alicante is also a university city, with various faculties and a series of technical colleges. During the summer, a variety of Spanish courses for foreigners are held meaning there will be plenty of other students in addition to those on your course.

Culture

Alicante is well known for its cultures. The city offers an interesting range of cultural activities in various centres around town, such as the Casa de la Cultura (cultural centre), which has a well-stocked library, a historical archive and keeps locals and visitors abreast of cultural events such as expositions, conferences and films.

Beaches

Alicante's Mediterranean climate makes the beach life accessible all year round. Alicante has  plenty of fantastic beaches to choose from including: La Playa de San Juan, with seven kilometres of golden sand; La Albufereta and El Postiguet located almost within the city itself, at the foot of the Benacantil mountain.

The sands simply never run out in Alicante; but if you prefer a rocky beach with crystal clear waters, at the Cabo de las Huertas, you’ll find a rugged, rocky area with coves such as Los Cantarales, Los Judios and Palmera.

Sports and Leisure

Typical of the Spanish culture Sport and Leisure are at the forefront of things you can do in Alicante. The Castillo de Santa Bárbara offers incredible views and sits 166m above the beach and is accessible by road or by using the lift from the Postiguet beach. Having the beach at your doorstep makes water activities such as scuba diving, paragliding or banana boating  easily accessible. The city also boasts of various golf course within driving distance for those that wish to practice their swing.

In the Old Town you will find plenty of bars or restaurants to have a drink or some delicious tapas. Some of the finest restaurants offering Valencian and international cuisine can be found in the old city know as 'El Barrio'.

The bar themes can range from from salsa to jazz, rock to sevillanas and to your normal charts music. Clubs and dance salons vie for your custom with classy decor and great music. It is recommended that throughout the summer season you visit some beach clubs on the Playa de San Juan.
